Did We Accomplish Anything?

Last week Phoebe had the brilliant idea of having our English students send postcards home to our friends in America. We had some fun reading through them when they were finished. Let's just say their English perhaps still needs a tad bit of help. Sometimes you can get the general idea of what they're attempting to communicate, and other times it just doesn't make sense.

Some sentences that we found a little humorous:

-I am 17 years old and in grade certificate of vocational education business computer 2 studying at Lamphun Technical College.
-I like to study computer many subjects.
-If get come to impress very I have been glad that write a letter to come to see you.
-Thailand have a beautiful.
-Thailand has a lot of pace for travel, such temple, the old building, waterfall, village, and lots of.
-I like Phoebe and Emily very.
-I wake up little late. But arrive at college not late.
-Nice to miss you.
-I am Thailand.
-Thailand of smile land.
-Amazing Thailand. Nature is wonderful. Curture is nice, many festival, nice people. Welcome to Thailand.
-Thailand has the civilization fine and people has a good habit and lovable.
-See you again in my email.

This is just a few. That's ok, they tried their best...:)

What endearing sentences!

I think they're doing well! English is a confusing language. Sometimes I still get messed up :)

How cute! Its like reading the writing of a learning child. Don't be disappointed. It is a big accomplishment even to be that far!
